Hi, My name is Adriana Mejia Fuentes (that’s two last names!) but a lot of people know me just as Bee. I’m a 3D animator and illustrator/concept artist.
I graduated from Sheridan’s Computer Animation program, in which I learned all aspects of the pipeline, but I fell in love with animation. It was like illustrating but with movement. Since then I’ve been animating nonstop.
As for illustration, I’ve been doing it since 2016. I’ve worked with clients like the United Nations, Claro and Samsung, Ducal Fried Beans and several advertising agencies and nonprofits.
I come from Nicaragua, but I now live in Ontario. And if there’s one thing you should know about Nicaraguans is that we are hard workers. We understand the value of opportunities and we don’t take them for granted. I come from a country with virtually no animation industry, yet I got into one of the best animation schools in the world! And I’ll keep doing what no Nicaraguan has ever done before, because I’m not afraid of challenges.
Besides animation and illustration, I love music and books! I also love teaching and speaking in public. You’ll see me in a lot of activities that involve sharing what I know, especially with younger generations of creatives!
You can see me in action in the gallery below.
